I’ll be reading from and discussing both The Eighth Moon and Nightshining, the first time I’ve ever read from them together.

I’ll be reading from Nightshining and talking about the 1950 Rainmaker’s Flood, Cold War dreams, Bernard Vonnegut, weather modification, and sharing the book’s research, including the voices of community elders. Part of the Pine Hill Memorial Library’s series “Drought and Flood.” 3pm Morton Memorial Library, 22 Elm St, Pine Hill, NY.

I will be reading from both books (or maybe just Nightshining) at Tibet House. Part of Arden Wohl’s series the New Particular, the event is with poets Susan Wheeler and Rachel Mannheimer, and I am very excited. 6:30 pm, Tibet House, 22 West 15th Street, New York, NY (note: this is ticketed)
